While you are exploring ways to do better and be better, remember to do self-care.

A great way to start your day is to notice what is going well and be grateful. In that process, remember to be kind and forgiving to yourself.

Reach out and connect with someone who may feel good when you do—friends, family, a neighbor, or a colleague who could cheer you up.

I am looking forward to meeting you.

Much love,

Process

Working with me seems very organic and natural, but it is very structured to help my clients move from a ‘stuck’ to an ‘unstuck’ space.

One of the key elements that differentiates my work from others is that my approach to helping you is completely customized with your life history journey, experience, and exposure in mind. Just because you belong to a certain race or ethnicity does not mean the approach can be generalized. The processing and solutions have to be done in a way that sits well with you and your life and world.

Here’s what we’ll typically do together:

  1. Get to know your family history, life journey, and world.

  2. Understand your struggles, challenges, and dilemmas that may be putting a strain on your life.

  3. Healing and grieving losses while brainstorming ideas for a better version of you and your life potential.

  4. Setting goals and revisiting them as you work with me to make it happen.

  5. Continuing the dance of moving forward and understanding setbacks as you keep going and getting stronger so you can thrive.

  6. Or something completely different because you need something different!

A Couple of Ways to Start

Meet-and-Greet

For those of you in a non-escalated space (meaning there isn’t an urgent need to talk to a professional), this 30-minute meeting is an opportunity for me to understand your situation and give you a high-level overview of how I might be most helpful to you or your family. It also gives me a chance to discuss my work and the different ways I work with Individuals, Professional Executives, Couples, and Families.

Strategy Session

A 90-minute session is dedicated to understanding your situation, where you are in it, and details of the challenge you might be facing. This session is where I get an opportunity to ask you questions that will help me understand your situation, life, and family dynamics better so I can guide you in our limited time. You can get some relief from having clarity on your immediate challenge. You, of course, need to understand my work and my approach better to decide if you would like to work with me long-term.

No meet-and-greet is required. Please book directly.

What People Are Saying

“Working with Dr. Sheeza has changed and, in all honesty, saved my life. Her sessions give me a sense of relief and comfort, and she helps me to process whatever emotions I may be struggling with. Dr. Sheeza has helped me overcome my anxiety and depression with her advice, and we’ve been able to work through many of the problems I’ve faced in the last few years. I know that I can trust Dr. Sheeza with personal information and speak with her openly without feeling judged. Another aspect that sets Dr. Sheeza apart is her background. As a Pakistani American who is also multilingual, Dr. Sheeza can sympathize with some of the issues I face better than most since she has personal experience as well. This also makes it easier to communicate with my parents during family sessions and whatnot, which is important because I am not a legal adult yet. Dr. Sheeza is incredibly kind, funny, and understanding, and I am very lucky to have her as my therapist.”

“I felt like my marriage was falling apart. Experiencing infidelity in the marriage was the hardest thing we had to deal with. We are so grateful to Dr. Sheeza for helping us save our marriage. Like she says, you have to build your relationship back. Her unique way of working with us made us bear the pain, shame, and grief with integrity. We are so grateful and recommend her wholeheartedly!”
